Jakarta - Kepala Seksi Layanan Akomodasi Daker Madinah PPIH Arab Saudi 2023 Ali Machzumi menepis kabar viral yang menyebut sejumlah jemaah haji Indonesia dari Kloter 14 Embarkasi Makassar UPG-14 ditelantarkan. Dia menegaskan, jemaah haji tersebut dipindah penginapannya ke hotel yang justru lebih baik dan dekat dengan Masjid Nabawi di Madinah. Jemaah Haji Kuota Tambahan Mulai Diterbangkan ke Tanah Suci Hari Ini Jemaah Haji Khusus Tinggalkan Madinah Ditemukan Tersesat di Masjid Nabawi, Mbah Harto Malah Minta Pulang ke Cijantung Urus Karang Taruna Menurut Ali, potongan video yang viral itu adalah suasana proses pemindahan jemaah UPG-14 asal Kabupaten Luwu Utara ke hotel yang lebih strategis. "Sebenarnya ini masalah sudah selesai. Di awal hanya ada miss komunikasi. Pihak majmuah memindahkan jemaah ke hotel yang lebih dekat dengan Masjid Nabawi," kata Ali Machzumi kepada tim Media Center Haji MCH di Madinah. "Jadi mereka dipindahkan ke hotel yang lebih dekat dengan Masjid Nabawi. Sama sekali bukan ditelantarkan. Jemaah haji asal Kabupaten Luwu Utara sekarang sudah berada di hotelnya," jelas dia. Hal senada juga disampaikan Kepala Bidang Haji dan Umrah Kanwil Kemenag Sulawesi Selatan Sulsel Iqbal Ismail. Dia menjelaskan bahwa potongan video yang menyebut jemaah Luwu Utara telantar itu tidak benar. "Bukan ditelantarkan tetapi dipindahkan ke hotel yang jauh lebih bagus dan dekat dengan Masjid Nabawi. Kemudian teman-teman rombongannya yang lain panik, dikira diusir. Justru diberi hotel yang lebih dekat karena banyak lansia yang di kloter itu," katanya menjelaskan. Ketua Kloter 14 Luwu Utara, Ahwan melalui rekaman video juga ikut meluruskan informasi yang beredar. Dia mengatakan hal itu terjadi saat perpindahan hotel yang sebenarnya telah disepakati sebelumnya. "Jadi pindah hotel ini dilakukan karena agar jemaah lebih dekat dengan Masjid Nabawi. Jarak hotel yang diberikan itu justru berjarak 50 meter saja dari masjid dan ini sangat strategis dan membantu kita, hanya yang terlihat di video itu proses perpindahannya. Jadi bukan telantar. Itu sama sekali tidak benar," tegasnya. Salah satu tempat yang paling banyak dikunjungi oleh jemaah haji Indonesia di Masjid Nabawi, Madinah, Arab Saudi adalah Raudah.
